Hadrians Wall
Hadrians Wall

Early Spring - 2017

Construction on this wall was started in AD122, as ordered by Emperor Hadrian of Rome. It was once the northern boarder of the Roman empire. Today I shot a photo of it under dark clouds and biting wind. Some things make you feel small, in a powerful way.

Kendal Castle
Kendal Castle

Early Spring - 2017

"Kendal Castle is a medieval fortification to the east of the town of Kendal, Cumbria, in northern England. The castle, which is atop a glacial drumlin, was built in the 12th century as the Caput baroniae for the Barony of Kendal." I know that places like this are common for some people. But for me, visiting a medieval castle is pretty spectacular.
